Day 1

Upon arrival travellers will be met, assisted and taken to their hotel for an overnight stay. The next day:

• breakfast will be served:              07:30- 08:30
• departure to Massawa:               09:00

Day 2

While driving to Massawa a number of stopovers will be made:

• at various vantage points to get panoramic views of the escarpments
•  at Ghinda  for fresh and /or warm drinks
• at Gahtelay ( mayhiwet) hot spring spot
• at Dogoli bridge (old Italian  built bridge about 94kms from Asmara)

Upon arrival at Massawa travellers will be taken directly to their hotel for a soothing bath /shower and rest with cold refreshments. After a short rest it will be time to have lunch. This will be followed by a siesta (a nap to see off the hot sun between 13:00-15:30). The rest of the day will be free for the travellers to relax or go out for dinner and evening stroll.

Day3.

• breakfast will be served between 07:45-09:00
• easy walk guided tour of Massawa. The sites visited will include a walk around the old Turkish buildings in Massawa Main Island and the port area.
•  lunch time 12:30-13:45
• siesta up until 15:30 to be followed by refreshments
• tour of Massawa including Twalet and Edaga
• visitors own free time for going out to dine and evening stroll or night life

Day 4

• ride to Gurgusum beach beginning 08:30 for breakfast

• whole day visitors free time for swimming and relaxation , beach activities
• lunch at Gurgusum hotel between 12:30-14:00
• end-day back to base hotel for dinner and free time relaxation

Day 5

• breakfast starting at 07:45-09:00
• canoe ride to Green Island 10:00-12:30
• free own time adventure after lunch and the usual afternoon siesta
• show up for dinner at 19:00 and wind up the day with more own free time

Day 6

• breakfast 07:45-09:00
• begin the sea cruise to the Dahlak  archipelagos- which have been designated as protected national park
• enjoy cruising the blue waters of the Red Sea and relax with cold refreshments while heading towards the  destination
• upon arrival lunch will be served, followed by personal and free activities including  rest and leisurely walk around, swimming , sight seeing etc
• day ends with dinner and refreshments

Day 7

• after breakfast starts guided cruise tour to some of the historically significant island  of the archipelago; while exploring and/or cruising  food will  be served with refreshments
• in the afternoon there will be free individual time to pursue own interest activities
• return journey to Massawa and  upon arrival head to hotel accommodation

Day 8

• ride to Gurgusum beach beginning 08:30 for breakfast

• whole day visitors free time for swimming and relaxation , beach activities
• lunch at Gurgusum hotel between 12:30-14:00
• end-day back to base hotel for dinner and free time relaxation

Day9

• pack up to evacuate hotel and breakfast

• start return journey to Asmara driving along  the serpentine Northern Red Sea Park Road and view  the spectacular Eastern Escarpment. This is the wettest part of Eritrea where the high mountains force drop the winds their moisture
• stopover at the top of this winding road to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountain scenery
• lunch enjoy traditional Eritrean dish while viewing this awesome  fantastic landscape
• return to Asmara to hotel accommodation via Keren Gate

• free day own time in Asmara
• preparation for the return flight
• return flight and  au revoir
