ZURA HAGERKA TOUR 1

 Tour Code:       ZH-01-C02

Eritreans young and not so young are travelling to Eritrea in large numbers. They travel not only to partake in the celebration of its independence but they also have a feeling of empathy with the mother land and their blood relations. Indeed one is heartened by the fact that young Diaspora Eritreans are rightly proud of their root and history, that they cherish their nationhood and that they also acknowledge the gift of their martyrs with deep gratitude.

While commending the above, we at Admas EriTravel & Tours want to take this annual journey a bit further.  We would like to encourage these youngsters to set aside part of their time to enjoy the beauty of the country’s remarkable natural endowment and rich cultural heritage.

Tour

This 13-days tour follows the same route as Tour Code ZH-01-C02 up to Massawa – the tour turning point.
The main difference is that from Massawa, the Tour Code ZH-01-C02 continues to cover southern Red Sea region with the port of Assab as its destination.
This Massawa-Assab component of the tour is a very challenging but also very rewarding excursion tour. The breath taking views and crystal clear waters along the
shores of the Eritrean Red Sea are indeed very inspiring and relaxing experience. The excursion to the Danakil Depression is one of main highlights of this tour.
The Danakil Depression is believed to be the one of the hottest places on earth with daytime temperatures reaching 50°C

This part of Eritrea is also considered to be an area of great geological interest in understanding the fundamental processes driving the rifting of continents and the creation of new

oceanic crusts. Recent archaeological have also resulted in the discovery of hominid remains indicating its significance as a historical route of ancient human migration.
